Suit Solutions helps protect fine swimwear from chlorine damage. It preserves color and elasticity, and keeps suits smelling fresh. Add two capfuls of Suit Solutions to a basin of water, swish the suit around and the chlorine is neutralized! It's simple, fast, and effective. 8 oz.

Chlorine has a persistent odor, particularly noticeable in swimsuits. My child competes on two swim teams and trains frequently. At the end of each week, I wash the swimsuits, adding two capfulls of this product to the laundry. It is user-friendly, has a pleasant fragrance, and does not leave any residue. My child has sensitive skin, yet we have encountered no problems. The swimsuits are also enduring longer, as this product effectively removes chlorine, contributing to their longevity. It offers an excellent balance of performance and affordability.

Very impressed by this stuff! I am new to swimming for fitness, and found out that it's not uncommon for people to replace their very expensive swimsuits twice or more per year (depending on how often they swim, of course) because the chlorine/additives in pools degrades the fabric. After reading a very well-written blog about this product, I decided to try it out. It's hard to believe that only two capfuls would be enough to get the chlorine out (at least the smell, anyway!), but it really does!I follow the advice of the blogger and have a regular suit maintenance routine: First, I always rinse my hair and suit before getting into the pool. Apparently this helps to keep the suit from absorbing so much of the pool water - I have no idea whether this is true or not, but do it anyway. Then, after my swim, I rinse it off in the shower. I always have a gallon freezer bag with me, in which I pour two capfuls of the solution into, then fill it about halfway with fresh water (from the shower) and then place my swimsuit inside the bag and let it soak while I finish showering, drying and dressing. Once I am ready to leave, I pour out the excess water from the bag (and gently squeeze the bag to get water out of the suit) and leave my suit in the bag until I get home. Once I'm home I promptly remove the swimsuit and lay it out to dry on a towel. **I stopped hanging my suit to dry, because I found that this can stretch out the fabric due to the water dripping/pulling on the suit**It's incredible, but the chlorine smell is absolutely gone - and the suit still looks and feels new! My only wish is that I could buy it in a bigger bottle - because I go through it relatively quickly with as much swimming as I do.

I've started using the pool several times a week, which is really hard on my suits. I've been on a quest to make my newest one last longer than the last few. The two things that I've done are wetting myself down before getting in and using this product when I rinse it out afterward. I suspect that getting wet beforehand makes a big difference--that way the foam parts of the suit's bra aren't absorbing the chlorinated water like a sponge when I get in. But adding this rinse to the water when I soak the suit seems to be making a big difference, too. It used to be that I could rinse the suit a couple of time or let it soak quite awhile and the chlorine smell would still be there. Now after adding it and swishing a bit, the suit is ready to hang and dry--no smell at all! My one issue is that there's maybe 20-25 uses per bottle, which works out to 60-75 cents per use. Because of this, I'm going to try using another suit-saving product that's more cost effective, but if it doesn't work as well, I'll definitely be ordering this again!Edit I found that the Suit Saver, which claims 50 uses per bottle, didn't give the same results unless I used more, so it ended up with a similar number of uses as this. I found a good deal on a four-pack, so i decided to order the Summer Solutions again.

I love this for removing chlorine and salt water. It really is a must have to save your swim suits from chlorine. I uses it every time I swim in chlorine and my suits are still in great shape!

This product is a good chlorine remover, but for a frequent swimmer, the small bottle is gone very quickly.

So I have been a long-time user of Summer Solutions for my swimwear, using it for years. I've swam at the same pools and have the same kind of bathing suits. With the last 2 purchases of the Summer Solutions bottle, it seems to be tinted water. In the past, 2 capfuls in a sink of water would neutralize the chlorine from my lapsuits within a second, and I could smell the difference. Lately it seems to do nothing. Even if I pour 6 capfuls in, it doesn't do anything but use up the bottle. The suit smells like chlorine before, and chlorine after. It's definitely a money sink at this point and I won't be buying this product again. Not sure what happened.

This was awesome, brought a gallon zip lock with me just needs a cap ful and small amount of water. No rinsing just hang to dry. Made our vacation so much easier and expensive bathing suits taken care of. Saw absolutely no fading after 2 weeks of daily chlorine and beaches.
