INTEGRATED PERFECT POUR LINE
AVENSI was designed to be 2 cups in 1. It holds enough coffee for those of us that prefer a generous serving (14oz), and it’s also optimized for the most common manual pour-over and espresso based drinks of 6oz (180ml). A 6oz volume of coffee aligns with the integrated Perfect Pour Line, where the single- and double-walls fuse together; this also acts as a visual indicator for where the largest surface area of coffee is exposed to air. When poured to this level, your coffee will have the maximum diffusion of aromas.

I bought these on Indigogo and liked them so well I bought another set on Amazon. They are an ingenious design and truly do enhance the coffee experience. The design keeps the coffee warm for much longer than a normal coffee cup. The top is thin so it allows one to sip very hot coffee without burning your tongue; the coffee cools slightly as it is sipped from the thin glass portion. The combination of the shape and being able to drink coffee that is hot concentrates the aroma and creates a much enhanced taste. They are expensive, but if your spending money on expensive beans this is a great way to get the true value out of those beans.

A Grand Exploration was done over here in Arizona!Exceptional turn out with each glass used on different roasted beans.These glass wares have made a comprehensible difference to Consuming coffee. I bought my set on indigogo and won’t buy another for myself or anyone else. The shapes are fine but the glasses themselves are poorly finished. Mine came with felt coasters, which are entirely necessary. The nipple on the bottom of the glass stands proud, meaning the glasses themselves don’t sit square on a table, instead, they wobble pretty dramatically. Compare these to a Bodum double walled glass where the nipple has been recessed and covered with silicone. Additionally, the lips of the glasses have fairly prominent beads where they’ve been detached. They have been smoothed, but it leads to an overall impression of quite poor workmanship in the manufacture. If I want to acquire more of this sort of thing I will look to Kruve before buying these again.

I was one of the early funders of this Product when this got introduced via Kickstarter. Their customer service lacks empathy as they simply want you to pay for another glass if it breaks. The first prototype they sent me broke very easily but they still wanted me to pay for a replacement even though I helped financed the product through Kickstarter. This is the 5th glass I had in the past 2 years and I will likely not get a new one - as they charge me every time for a replacement.
