I was looking for a little help to haul the groceries into the house from the garage. I'm 71 years old and my back has started to complain about such things. This wagon cost about 2x more than I was planning, but I couldn't pass up the quality, design and charm of this little wagon and I was delighted to find an alternative to a cheap import made of Chineseium. The instructions are minimal, but that's OK because so is the assembly. A hammer is all that's required and it doesn't even have to be a good hammer. The tires are made of sturdy plastic which has the disadvantage of vibration and more noise than pneumatic tires, but the advantage of much less rolling resistance and they never go flat. I'm not sure how well this wagon would hold up under use by a gang of rambunctious kids however. It's sturdy and very well made, no question, but it is wood after all. I think of the Radio Flyer from my childhood. That thing was a battleship with wheels and we put it through hell. But time marches on and even Radio Flyer doesn't make things the way they used to.

I got this for my grandson who will be 3 1/2 yrs. at Christmas. He is gonna love this! He can load it with all his construction vehicles and other trucks and cars to take them in and out of the house to the backyard. When friends visit they will enjoy pulling each other around. I filled it up with his other Christmas presents and will set the wagon in front of the tree for Christmas morning. It is very sturdy, well built with safety in mind. Love that it can go from wagon to cart with the removable railings. It was very easy to put together. The big wheels makes it perfect! I highly recommend Berlin Flyer Sport Wagon!

We live in Hawaii, but ordered this wagon on Amazon and had it shipped to Arvin Hills, MN for our grandson. I know that doesn’t say much for the wagon, but was nice Amazon handles items that way. At any rate, we searched Amazon far and wide for a quality wagon we could get for our grandson. After comparing all that Amazon had to offer we were convinced this was the one. It helped too knowing the product was manufactured by Amish. Being originally from Wisconsin and experienced in the quality of Amish made wood products we felt we couldn’t go wrong. We were right, the Berlin Flyer wagon was received with great satisfaction from our family. However, during a recent visit we found ourselves that this wagon is way above a lot of others on the market. The entire construction, quality of craftsmanship, materials used, all added up to and convinced, this wagon was well worth the money. It is safe for our grandson, has tip proof quality, and will probably provide years of good use and go on to put smiles on the face of other children in its use.We would suggest you not let the price alter your decision, to buy or not to buy. We weighed in more on the safety of any child, the quality and features being a plus, and probably many years of dependable service in its future. The Berlin Flyer wagon on Amazon was our final choice with no regrets.

Everything is still good. Purchased this same wagon (with pneumatic tires) about 27 years ago for my sons and it's still in service at home. Nuff said. Now hauls my recyclables to the road once a week in style. If available, I would have purchased a locking brake for slopes. Not an option.Adult supervision is reccommended for youngsters.

I purchased this wagon for my grandson and he absolutely loves it. It was also super easy to build! The craftsmanship is evident and worth the additional price. I think it will last for years!

I like that this is made in the USA. This is a good old fashioned wooden wagon. I took one star off of “Ease of Assembly” for a lack of any illustrations. It wasn’t a problem for me, but a novice at assembling things might need a little more help. I think there is a video on the Berlin Flyer webpage. Maneuverability is good. You can’t turn quite as sharp as you would if the front wheels pivoted on a center point, but that is what makes other wagons easier to tip. I like the no-tip steering, so in my mind it’s definitely worth the trade-off. It seems very sturdy, overall. I only gave 3 stars for sturdiness, simply due to the side rails. The horizontal slats are attached to the vertical posts with staples and apparently without glue. I say this because one slat easily popped loose just while while I was handling it before putting it on. This is important because I could see putting the side rails on with the wrong side facing out may weaken them to any force from inside the wagon, like a child leaning on them. The only other thing I was a little disappointed in was the black finish on the metal. It arrived already scratched off in a few places and completely lacking in another (see photos). I do like the no-flat tires. Overall, I’m pleased I chose this wagon over all the others. I would definitely recommend it.

This wagon was a great find- solidly built, easy to maneuver, big enough to transport a 3 years old or yard debris. I particularly like the tires which glide easily on rough terrain. Well done!

Returned the Berlin Flyer and bought the identical wagon at TSC for 100 dollars less. Aside from that it is easy to assemble and is a durable high quality wagon, made in the U.S.A. Granddaughter loves it.
