I've never owned a pedal wrench before and always resorted to "finding another way" when the need to change pedals arose. A recent purchase of a Schwinn spin bike necessitated a pedal change and, for the life of me, I could not remove the left pedal from the crank arm. I tried everything, even an impact wrench, and nothing could make it budge. In frustration, I ordered this wrench specifically because it was one of the longer-handled ones (better leverage) offered here on Amazon for a reasonable price. Being my "last ditch" option, I was hoping and praying it would loosen the stuck pedal. Well, great news! First, I rotated the pedal almost to the floor with just enough room to let it move another inch, or so, downward. Next, I attached the wrench securely to the pedal and then gently stepped onto the wrench handle. With the leverage allowed by the wrench, the pedal shaft was instantly freed-up using remarkably little effort and the seized pedal came right off with no more sticking. No slipping and no damage to the pedal shaft or the crank arm. Perfect. This wrench saved the day along with preventing a huge amount of frustration! Re-installing both pedals SECURELY to the spin bike was a breeze with this wrench. Nothing beats using the right tool for the job.If you're a serious cyclist, indoors or out, you need this tool for your convenience as well as your safety. You (or a loved-one) can be severely injured or even killed if a pedal comes off a bike and it can happen without any warning signs that it's getting loose. So, get one TODAY and check all of your pedals! This tool is very high quality and will serve me for the rest of my days, without question. Yes, it's that good. Highly recommend.

Received the pedal wrench earlier this week and have used it to remove pedals from the crank arms and to remove the pedal spindle from some Shimano SPD-SL pedals. The workmanship on the tool is very good. No burrs or extra metal where there shouldn't be. I've seen that some purchasers have had issues with that, but the one I received is fine. Before purchasing this pedal wrench, I've used 8" or 10" crescent wrenches to remove my pedals. The pedal wrench is much more convenient and provides quite a bit more torque due to its length. It's also thinner than a crescent wrench, so it's easier to fit between the crank and the pedal body. The 21mm 10T spline part of the tool works well on Shimano pedals (it was the primary reason for my purchase). I haven't used the hex wrench holes in the tool, but I expect they'll work fine for getting more torque when I need it on hex keys.I highly recommend this tool and look forward to never using a crescent wrench on any pedal again.

Excellent tool for my teens to keep their bikes well maintained. They ride 3 miles a day and put some serious ware on their bikes. This tool has everything they need, making maintenance quick and easy. Good grip, perfect fit and easy on your hands.

Sturdy tool. It did not have a wrench to fit my road bike pedals, but a bug hex key did the trick. And this item worked like a charm installing my comfort pedals.

I bought this to remove my stuck bicycle pedals that I couldn’t remove with my other tools. It fit the pedals perfectly and was able to loosen them with minimal effort.

This is a simple, inexpensive and single purpose tool, that performs it's task perfectly. I love it when specialty tools work. What is usually a rusted-on, knuckle-busting task, is made almost effortless with this wrench. Are you replacing bicycle pedals? Buy one. It makes the job effortless.
