It will work on many masks and it does what it needs to do.

My daughter loves Easton gear, this is her third set. I never understood why the throat guard isn’t an integral part of the gear, but for whatever reason, it isn’t included. Some sanctions that we play require the throat guard. Some do not. These throat guards have saved her many times from taking a ball to the throat. I highlighted recommend them. They come with strings on them, but we took the strings off bc they won’t stay tied, we just applied with zip ties.

I wish they'd of had the nylon straps to attach to the face guard instead of the thick shoe strings that are FAR too long and leave you wondering how to attach it to the mask w/out having strings dangling all over. I ended up looping the laces through the mask and throat guard twice each and then tying a square knot in the string. There's still some sloppy loose ends, but at least they aren't as long as the throat guard itself.I also think this should be included with the helmet. It's a youth catchers set. Anyone who is using it in the Little League organization will need to have the throat guard, and I'd imagine that would be the majority of people buying this particular size.

Great product for the money. Only issue is that I would not use the strings that it comes with to fasten it to the catchers helmet .. I would use zip ties!!

Shoe laces style cords are used to attach this guard to an Easton Speed Elite Traditional Catcher's Facemask. But, they keep coming loose and have to be re-tied often after a period of use. We will be using zip ties to make the connection shortly. Post season review - after one season of travel baseball we have learned that this product needs a better system for attaching it to the face mask. The shoe strings, as some other reviewers have also commented, will keep coming loose and need to be retied often at inopportune moments in a game. Zip ties or Velcro would work better. The guard itself held up well to the use and abuse that it took through 40+ games and innumerable practices.

Exactly as advertised. Tie it via the strings to your catchers mask and now your throat is protected. Make sure you look down when blocking vice pulling your head to optimize protection.

It's exactly what you'd expect. It doesn't get in the way, it's comfortable , and provides my son that extra layer of protection behind the plate. He loves it.

Easy to connect and use. Came in handy with erratic pitching! Definitely worth the money to protect your young catchers.
