i ordered these butter spreaders to work with my Reed and Barton SS flatware set. They match almost perfectly. The spreaders are hefty and really beautiful. Considering how substantial they are, you cannot beat the price. My dinner guests can now use their dinner knives for their dinner and the bread/butter spreaders can rest on their bread plates. I am very pleased.

I was most impressed with the weight of the Fortessa Medici 18/10 stainless steel flatware. The butter spreaders in particular have a great heft to them as well as a nice length.

These spoons are nice looking and seem to be of good quality - A little too thick and heavy for me though.Things to take into consideration: First off, these spoons are 8 5/8" long - a little longer than most. In addition to the extra length, 18/10 stainless steel is quite a bit heavier than 18/0 plus the bowl of the spoon is a little wider and deeper.I actually use iced tea spoons to EAT with because I prefer a smaller sized bowl than the typical teaspoon has. I thought these heavier spoons would be better because in the past I have bent the handles of a couple of the 18/0 weight spoons using them to mash up hard ice cream. Also, this design looked closer to the design of the stainless I use, so I spent quite a bit more to get these heavier spoons thinking they would not bend and that they'd match my stainless better. THING IS, I did not take into consideration they would be so HEAVY TO HOLD, nor did I realize the bowl would be a bit larger than what I was use to.I now wish I had spent way less and gotten the 18/0 weight as I do not like the additional length, weight or the larger bowl. Also, being that these are longer and heavier they can fall out of smaller sized dishes when you go to rest them on the side of the bowl. And, if all you're using these for is to stir tall drinks you definitely don't need the heavier 18/10, the lighter 18/0 would do just fine - in fact, I think these heavy spoons could actually break some glasses if someone stirred too hard.So - in my opinion, there is no reason to pay for these heavier weight iced tea spoons unless you really want this particular design.Just FYI: I'm not positive but I think all of the 'On...a' brand 'Iced Tea' or 'Tall Drink Spoons' are a LOT shorter than most - I ordered some and they were just like their teaspoons only a LITTLE bit longer, NOT tall enough to use in a tall glass at all - I had to return them and was out the shipping charges.

Nice finish and heavy weight also a good size for a butter knife. I like the Medici style kind of classic meets modern
