Love the frog system. The thing with the FROG, is it is a system all on its own, which I did not know at first. You don't need any other chlorine or shocks. The FROG support number is great too!! Basically, I change the silver half of the ball once a month for my 600-gallon hot tub and change the blue side of the ball every four months. The directions say to dial the silver half to a 4 based on my gallons but once my hot tub was balanced, I have it on a 2 and it keeps the CL levels perfect. I shock the tub with the frog CL shock when I change the blue half of the ball. About every two weeks, I throw in the sanitizer. Only other chemical I need is PH up. Frog system makes keeping the hot tub balanced an easy task!

Fell apart within the first week, and we didn’t know until we went out to use the hot tub and found it floating in two pieces, plus the white stones that were in it are now all over the bottom of the tub. All of the numbers, other than the Ph, are perfect still. One of the pieces were warped, so I cannot put it back together.We will try again, because I do think it is potentially a very good concept, and I am thinking that the error could have been mine when putting it together. Also, the little packet that came in the kit was like magic for balancing the water.

This floating chemical systems is far and away my preferred method for maintaining the pH levels of my hot tub. It takes so much of the work out of the process and significantly lowers the work load to keep your hot tub happy and ready for use.

Have not taken the plunge to change over to Frog.I thought I could use this while gone for 10 days.It does not work like that.Frog can only be used after a full water drain and fresh fill / conversion to Frog System.It is a ‘set it and forget it’ system from what I understand.It uses its own Chemicals.If you want to make the switch, buy this system.If you’re on the fence, or not ready to change because you currently use chlorine granules or Bromine, then don’t buy the Frog.If your ready, I hear very good things about it’s ease of use, I also hear it’s a bit expensive and needs replaced approximately every 3 weeks.

Hot tub maintenance is NOT cheap. I used the @ease system that came with our tub. It worked fine, with water sanitation and chem balance. When I needed to reorder, I attempted to save a few dollars, and ordered (what looked like) a similar product replacement. BIG MISTAKE. the imposter ruined my Chem levels and caused a very acidic feel and nasty smell. Really bad move on my part. I had to drain the tub, clean it thoroughly and refill it. I then ordered the real @ease replacements, and have had no issues since then. Bottom line ... Be Very Careful ordering knock off replacements, I'm not saying that all are as bad as my experience was, but just make sure you are getting a good quality product to replace the @ease by Frog.

I don't know the capacity of the tub but it's for 4 people. The only person to yse the tub was me, dust last 2 weeks.

I’ve done it all. Tried it every way. We use our spa A LOT which means normal dichlor adds insane amounts of cya inside a month. This fixed it. Balance your water, throw in the frog. Add some enzyme and shock once a week and enjoy effortless sparkling water. We can go 6 months in winter and when we clean there is ZERO biofilm or build up. Everything is just pure. Great product.

We have a 15 foot swim spa, I was looking for something easier for chemicals..We constantly have people going in and out all all year.. With kids being around I didn’t want them around the chemicals & we were constantly forgetting to add chemicals so I looked into that this product..I have been using it for about six months now and so far I really love it.The cartridge lasts about three weeks and is about half the price if I was to get it by chemicals and put them in separately..Its super easy to use. You can adjust how much chemicals you want to be put into my swim spa at one time so I can change it from heavy used to mild use and I know it’s empty when it flips over.

I ordered this and it came with minerals falling out of the package. I opened it up, and notice everything is covered in minerals or chemicals. Everything including the inside branded box is covered in a white dust. As hot tub chemicals are generally corrosive or can cause burns I didn't open the inside branded box to find what is going on, I just tried to get a refund. Amazon won't return it, so they put me in touch with the company, and hte company is making me go back to Amazon. Amazon is making me go to the company and here we go round and round full circle. It was frustrating but they finally gave me a refund. I disposed of the package at the land fill chemical dump.
