It will take a couple of weeks to see if it performs as well as my old brand mineral stick, but as of now it seems to be working great.

I like that this fit perfectly in my hot tub and that it eliminates all unnecessary chemicals, the only thing that I have to add is a Sanitizer, and it gets my water crystal clear.

It was exactly what we needed for our Jacuzzi.

Smaller than normal mineral sticks I order and seemed to make the hot tub cloudy after a short time and needed to be drained

I'm using this in my hot tub...placed it right in the filter chamber. The filters I have don't have tops that I can remove but I just place this at the bottom and install the filter right over it, so it sits inside. I use an ionizer for my pool (16x24 oval) and all I have to do is put a couple cups of chlorine once a week, through the skimmer compart and my pool water is always crystal clear. So, I figured why not with the hot tub. So far, been using this for two months now and I haven't had to replace my water since. before that I struggled trying to maintain proper balance, don't use a service, and it seemed I would have to replace my water at least once every 4-5 weeks. Not horrible, about 285 gallons in my spa...but still. So, I've followed the same practice as my pool...I use this, add a chlorine shock tablet about every 3-4 days, more if used more, clean the filter every 7-10 days on average, and add natural enzymes through the filter once a week. So far, this has worked great...clean, doesn't smell, no residue (although I scrub about every two weeks) and no foaming. If this is legit...and so far, seems to be, over two months...then the money this will save me on chemicals is going to be great. I plan on replacing it every 4 months or so, we'll how that goes.
