The steps were fairly easy to put together. The steps have a texture making it less likely that we will slip. The dark color matches our hot tub. The size is appropriate for our hot tub and space. It is very sturdy with metal frame. It seemed to check all the boxes for us so I think it was a good value and we received it quickly.

Some of the holes did line up so it could not be put together properly. The manufacturer should supply caps so screw head are not visible. With that said, the packaging was excellent. The quality of the provided materials was also excellent. Unit had considerable weight. I would buy again.

Risers do not have pre drilled holes for mounting but the self tapping screws work very well.

This is an excellent set of indestructible hot tub steps for an extraordinarily affordable price. On that basis alone, I can strongly recommend them.The material quality is superb. The frame of the steps is sturdy sheet metal that's thickly painted and should last a very long time, even in the damp conditions around a hot tub. The steps themselves are made of a composite wood-substitute material similar to Trex, which is ideal because it will never rot or decay. The bolts and screws are suitably heavy duty.I do have one warning though, which should hopefully not discourage you, just lets you be prepared. The step surfaces came already assembled into sub-sections that could easily be screwed to the frame. To my surprise, though, I found that the step front pieces weren't so prepared - you just got the bare boards and the screws. The trouble is that the boards had no pre-drilled holes, and composite wood-substitute is pretty tough stuff, so you can't just screw into it by hand.I do have a power drill, so I can drill pilot holes myself. If you don't, you may have a problem getting this put together; perhaps you can borrow one?I'm not sure why the maker omitted that common step in self-assembly furniture, but I'd recommend to them to fix it. If they do, this will be the perfect and by far the most affordable hot tub step solution I've ever encountered. Even as it is, it's still excellent value, just a bit more work to get it put together.

Really impressed with the quality of these steps. Fairly straightforward to assemble, you will need a helper when attaching risers. Also there aren't any pre-drilled holes for them; the included screws are supposed to be self-threading but not exactly. I'm using as additional steps from my deck, works perfectly for that.

These are perfect for our hot tub,so simple to assemble. 10 mins tops. Very sturdy and heavy duty it works perfect and it looks great!
