I use this product for hot toddy. It doesn't get hot like ceramic mugs during microwave heating. However, you need to check how hot the liquid is. I like the product very much.

I bought them to make Irish coffee. I like them so much I use them every day for my regular coffee. Keeps the coffee hot!

The cup has a seem down the middle you can see and feel. Additionally, the handle is not that comfy. I got the cup for its looks so that wasn't a big factor for me.
