Applications: start-up: 1 add 1/2 oz per 100 gallon of spa water to establish a 30-ppm bromide Reserve. 2 add Brom tabs to establish a bromine level. 3 repeat steps 1-2 when spa is drained & refilled. Tips: Leisure Time sodium bromide is not a disinfectant. It is used to establish a reserve of bromide in spa or hot tub water. It is necessary to use a sanitizer to disinfect the water. When used with Leisure Time Brom tabs, the disinfection of the spa will be completely bromine-based & chlorine odors will not exist. This packet is exactly the right amount for my Jacuzzi J345 during start-up. Add it when refilling to maintain a bromine reserve. No measuring, no mess, and you don't have to worry about moisture with the sealed, single dose packets.

Web site indicated I needed to phone Leisure Time for order support? I ordered through Amazon, I have reached out to Amazon customer service to get this order rectified. Amazon needs to speak to Leisure Time on what they advertise on Amazon and what the customer actually receives. 6 packages mean (I should receive 6) - Not one (1)
