I first saw this airbrush on YouTube Barabtose Rex did a review on it. He didn’t sound like he even expected it to work, but tried it anyway and was impressed with it, said he couldn’t say anything bad about it and it seemed to work pretty good. I ordered it spent a couple hours the next day trying different brands of paint, mostly inexpensive craft paints, nothing fancy, thinned them with distilled water and was quite satisfied with the results. I have a regular airbrush and compressor but I guess I just don’t understand how to use them cuz it is ALWAYS painful and frustrating. With this one you charge it, mix the paint to the proper consistency put it in the bottle choose the needle ( I use the .5mm needle) just put it securely on top of the bottle, slide the bottle into the slot and paint. : ) You can dispose of the needles but you can also just plop them in a jar of alcohol or mineral spirits and shake to clean them for reuse. Also I don’t see a way to order more needles for it.

Great portable airbrush when doing model work as you do not have to dish out the compressor and booth if you are just beginning the hobby or do not have the space for your air brush set up. I wish they have included more bottles with the kit.

I’ve always enjoyed expressing my creativity, and as a busy mom, I rarely have time to get to the craft store. This Actekart No-Clean Airbrush Kit has been an awesome addition to my DIY collection. The kit is really easy to use, and I love that it’s portable and rechargeable. The 30PSI power ensures that my projects come out smoothly, and the nozzles (ranging from 0.2mm to 0.5mm) give me the flexibility to work on all kinds of creative tasks—whether it’s creating custom designs on shirts for the kids or adding a personal touch to home décor. The best part is the cleanup. The no-clean feature makes it a breeze, and I don’t have to worry about spending hours cleaning it out after each use. As someone who values efficiency, this airbrush kit fits perfectly into my routine.Pros:Easy to use and set upNo cleaning required, which saves timeVersatile nozzle sizes for various projectsRechargeable and portable

My husband wanted this airbrush kit for painting Warhammer miniatures. All of the included pieces and instructions arrived packed somewhat haphazardly inside a hard-shell, zip-up case that’s really fantastic for storing the airbrush itself. The zipper is sturdy and glides smoothly, and there’s a mesh compartment inside for neatly storing the bottles. I love that all of the small pieces are sorted into their own, sturdy, slide-zip baggies. The baggies storing the disposable tips are labeled with the tip nozzles’ size. The charge cable feels especially sturdy and is a pretty green color that is not at all common. The USB-C end plugs into the airbrush, and the USB-A end plugs into a power source. No wall outlet adapter is included. The instructions are detailed, and they have lots of nice tips, including troubleshooting, which is helpful. Setup was super simple. You just charge the battery and start spraying. The battery took much longer to charge than expected based on the 5-hour charge time indicated on the sticker. It takes us closer to 8 hours to charge. There is a digital readout on the unit that tells you the battery charge level, which is convenient and easy to read. The airbrush itself is a hard, slick plastic material that actually feels quite nice in my opinion, but my husband didn’t initially appreciate that it tends to slide as he grips it. In my very small, female hands, the handhold is quite large, but it’s just the right size for my husband’s significantly larger hands, though the shape could be better, as he didn’t consider it ergonomic initially. He did eventually concede that during use, the grip and handle seem just fine, as he has been able to retain complete control over where the stream sprays. The unit has some nice weight to it that prevents it from feeling flimsy, yet it’s not weighty enough to cause control issues or to wear out the arms. The dial on the side feels sturdy, is easy to grip, and clicks satisfyingly to indicate that the airbrush has been turned on and off. It turns the airbrush on with a click, and further twisting of it then regulates pressure or intensity of the air stream. The spray button provides a nice feedback click, but it’s just a button that has the airbrush spray when you hold it in and has the airbrush stop spraying when you release it; it won’t change the intensity of the stream if you push it harder or release it more, so it’s not got any pressure sensitivity. That is what holds this airbrush back the most: that you can’t dictate how much paint goes through via the trigger, as it lacks sensitivity. You have to use a second hand to adjust the side knob to do that, and my husband likes using his second hand to turn his miniatures while painting them. For precision, you’d basically need a third hand.My husband has yet to try intricate detail with this airbrush because of that inconvenience, but it primes his models evenly, laying down an optimal base coat. To him, it doesn’t seem worth the roughly $100 price tag, considering you can get a really nice amateur airbrush for that price, and this doesn’t quite meet that standard.

If you've looked at my attached photo, you're probably thinking "what the heck is that?" It's my first ever experience with an airbrush. It may not look like much, but painting it taught me a lot. With this airbrush, I was able to pretty easily paint with 4 different colors just by exchanging one prepared bottle for another. I've learned that I really like not needing an external air compressor. I like that I can adjust the spray by just dialing a knob. I like that if I don't hold the tool straight I don't have to worry about paint spilling from an open cup. I like that the case that's included makes it convenient to keep everything together. I've also learned that I am going to need a lot more practice before I create a work of art. But this no-compressor airbrush has started me on a new path. Good luck on your new path if you get this.
