I was thinking this wouldn't work well. But it works really good. Only downside is stopping the water to clean out the bags of bug & partical debris. I just kink the hose to pause while cleaning the bag.I'm not getting out of the pool & turning on & off water! Otherwise for the price & cleaning ability it's great for the leaves & sentiment that lay on the bottom

I was thoroughly impressed with the POOLAZA Portable Pool Vacuum, it worked seamlessly to clean my above-ground pool with ease. The lightweight and compact design made it easy to maneuver around the pool's shape and corners, and the suction power was surprisingly strong. However, I did encounter some frustration with the bag attachment, which used velcro to secure it. Unfortunately, the velcro often came undone during use, causing the bag to open and spill debris back into the pool. I think a redesign with a more secure fastening mechanism would elevate this product to 5-star status. Despite this minor issue, I would still recommend the POOLAZA Portable Pool Vacuum for its overall performance and convenience.

Very cheaply made. Definitely the lowest quality in all aspects. Hose connection incorrectly machined and doesn't thread together. One of those, you get what you paid for situations. We got a total of 0 uses out of it.

Uses the power of your garden hose water to impel pool debris up off the bottom of the pool and into a mesh bag above, all done underwater.Some little brushes at the bottom of the unit help to loosen stuck on debris. So Far So Good.Being inexpensive, the 'throat' is quite small and cannot reliably pick up the pine-needles that fall in my poolAlso the click-together handle is quite flimsy so it can be a bit of a struggle with a hosepipe full of water being shoved around with a skinny wobbly aluminium poleIt's passably usable and miles cheaper than anything else like it : )

I can’t believe how well this works. I needed something to sweep our 12’ Intex pool, but obviously with such a small pool I didn’t want to spend an overwhelming amount of money. I figured this would either be the magic charm that we all need, or would be a total fail. For the price, I was willing to gamble.I’m happy to say it works! It sweeps up leaves and all! You can even hold it up off the floor of the pool and suck in stuff that might be floating about. You can hold it upside down and suck in a bug from atop the water too.I don’t really need anything fancy, and there’s not really anything that can break on this, so I expect it will last and be useful for quite a while! We did add a quick connect to it and our hose, so I guess we are a little fancy, after all.

This is my first year with an above ground pool. I have been losing my mind with how much work it is to keep the water clear. I was looking at electric vacuums because I couldn’t wrap my head around how this thing could possibly work. then i decided let me give this a chance and see if it work….. well it works. It light, it’s easy to use. I was a little confused on putting it together but thankfully my mom was over and she was able to SNATCH it out of my hands and say “here let me do it” and had it together in like 2.5 seconds. She then said she thinks the pool needs to be vacuumed with her in it which it absolutely did not need her in the pool to do this because I’ve cleaned it while not in the pool with this vacuum. The suction is pretty good. The price is great. And it’s pretty durable my daughter tripped over it and I was shocked she didn’t break it. Best advice I can give is do not pull it out of the pool while the hose is on you will get soaked!!!!

The threads do not line up so it takes several tries to get it to screw on to the hose. Add 90 degree heat and gnats to the equation and you end up very irritated and after 10-15 minutes of this you decide they can just swim with the grass in the pool. On the off chance that you do get it on the first couple of tries the hose is then able to click on to the vacuum but does not go on that well and usually pops off several times while you are trying your hardest to not to chuck this thing across the yard. And if you get it to go on perfectly and happen to not have any mishaps it does do the job. Good luck
