The Rx Clear Granular requires a dosage of only 1 ounce per 5,000 gallons of pool water daily. Use the following formulas below to find out the number of gallons in your pool:
Rectangular = Length x Width x Height x 7.5
Round = Diameter x Diameter x Height x 5.9
Oval = Length x Width x Height x 5.9

this is sodium di-chlor which is best for vinyl pools! it won't fade the liner as much as other types or break down the vinyl as much. I like the granular since I can't seem to control the chlorine level easily with tablets. I add whatever is needed at the end of the day and let the filter run all night. Can be used as regular sanitizer and also for shocking the pool. I also found this is often the best price around.

I wish its effectiveness would last longer but that is just not the case with the sun and heat here in California. Not the products fault. I have an 18k gallon pool and 2 Big Red Cups of this product 2/3x a week keeps me happy with crystal clear water in the summertime. Wintertime is different. The chlorine level will stay high for a whole month! I do supplement with a once weekly liquid water clarifier. I am retired so I do my own maintenance. NO chlorine tabs at all, just the powder/granules.

Good for above ground or smaller pools. Works great but was not aware I needed a commercial grade chlorine for my pool size, which is 32,000 gallons..

Better value than alternatives - more concentrated the other brands, and better price. Does the job. Safety cap is easy for an adult to remove. (Previous brand we used was a simple screw on/off)

This stuff is awesome! Its helped Soooo much with keeping the pool algae free and happy. its important that you realize this is a fast dissolving chlorine. It will spike your pool chlorine and by end of day the levels will be low to null if you do not supplement it.Use this every other day to spike the levels up to a 3 or below. Doesnt take too much to do the job (I use 5 to 7 ounces every other day). It helps a ton with Algea Just be sure to keep your PH Levels in Check. Then, I recommend using chlorine tablets to help supplement and keep the levels high throughout those two days. If you do those things your pool will stay in check.I use this in the morning, Then by end of day I use a chlorine table in the filter and this combo has kept my pool running smooth for the last 2 months. Great stuff I will def. keep purchasing this product.
