First off, I would like to mention I am a mechanic by trade and occupation, so I see and inspect many different light bulbs and brands for what is called "candlepower" and if the candlepower of each lamp is not sufficient, or is too bright, it cannot pass state safety inspection. These lamps are PERFECT. The low beam is not obtrusive, they are safe for use under DOT regulations and are proper color for use on US roadways. 6500 Kelvin (6500k) is a very daylight white color, where as incandescent bulbs usually hover around 2700k to 3500k depending on the brand and quality of that brand. True to lumen rating 12000lm per bulb, so a total of 24k lumens of pure awesomeness. My favorite parts are both the easily installable adapter that detatches from the bulb (9003 style with clip and boot, 2002 Toyota Sequoia) which allows the clip to be easily installed prior to the boot. The light clicks right in! Also has orientation specific keyways to prevent 180° install to ensure proper light spread and angle of the beam. Secondly, which has to be my favorite part, THE HIGH BEAM IS SO MUCH BRIGHTER THAN THE LOW BEAM. I have tried 3 different Amazon brands, and all suffered in this area. The low beam and high beam didn't show much difference in brightness in prior brands, and I usually ended up getting flashed by oncoming motorists due to the beam angle. They are fully compatible with the application I have selected and will update later with a durability result. All in all, 10/10 would recommend to a friend thus far. P.S. Yes they do supply Michael Jackson gloves, zip ties, and double sided tape for mounting the ballasts which was a nice touch.

I replaced the headlight bulbs on my 1998 Toyota Tacoma. It is a definite improvement over stock but could be brighter. I also replaced my high beam 9005 on my Lexus with this same brand and it is much brighter than these. 9005 are also used as low/high on Nissan Frontiers so I might not be necessarily comparing apples with apples.

I've purchased and installed sealight led's on all 6 of my vehicles. I haven't had one go out yet and they have a nice light beam unlike cheaper lights.

I finally had time to install these in all new headlight assemblies. Unfortunately, the beam pattern is not good. I don't understand why the two-chip side of each bulb points to one side of the car and the one-chip side points to the other. I have a huge amount of light on the passenger side and not so much on the driver's side. When on hi-beam I have one swath of light that makes it look as if only one headlight is working and the beam is very high. I will be adjusting these tonight to see if in some way I can correct this. They are better than the halogen bulbs I had in there but I want to enjoy the Hi-beams as well. If I can correct this I will edit my comments. EDIT UPDATE: tHESE LIGHTS ARE NO good. I can see well with the lights on dim but when I switch to Hi beam the lights shine into the tree, have a dark spot in the middle, and seem to be one beam of light centered ahead. It make no sense. I even swapped the bulba around and still got the same results. This is sad. Dont purchase these!!!
