Used as a replacement for our old pool chlorinator… worked as described.

For a jacuzzi. These overpriced dual carrier from companies like Frog are not needed. You can put your mineral pack and your chlorine tablet in this and spend 1/4 the price overall. My water is balanced and yes the chlorine tab dissolves faster than the closed canisters but no need to spend 30 bucks for the latter.

I love that they are inexpensive! Just know that UV rays destroy them. Plan on buying one a year if in Arizona. OR! You can do what I did. Paint it with a UV resistant paint. Clear like the Rust-o-lium that I used or some other color. But UV resistant!

We use it for a hot tub and it gets the job done. Easy to use and very durable! Great quality! Highly recommend!

Purchased first one in May 2022. Low cost, BUT.... low quality thin plastic, lid never stayed on well. Cheap enough that I bought a 2nd one in June of 2023 despite the low quality. Started to chemically degrade in Aug 2023 (lid began to crumble). Probably a combination of UV light from the sun and chlorine. Bottom literally fell out in Dec 2023. Summary -- cheap, but it won't last more than 18 months or so. Should I have spent $3 more and got one with better plastic material? I will the next time. 3 stars overall - cheap but low quality.
