If I had only looked at the instructions I would have sent these back right away as they are for a metric micrometer so I thought that’s what I got. Fortunately I checked and the actual devices were imperial. If you know how to read a micrometer, the instructions will tell you how to calibrate the devices, kind of, but you have to know to use the included calibration pieces which is obvious but it doesn’t mention them. If you don’t know how to read a micrometer don’t expect information from the instructions. You will need to learn elsewhere, but they are more on how to operate them than on how to read them. The actual devices seem sturdy, mine were smooth to operate and easy to calibrate, assuming the calibration pieces are correct. They have a scale all the way to 10’s (10,000ths not “10ths”) as they should, but nothing I’m doing with them requires that much accuracy lol. I tried the 1-2” device on a new brake rotor with a known thickness and it looked accurate enough.

Great case! easy to calibrate! I've used them plenty of times and repeatability is spot on! I would recommend this to anyone! Great value as well!

It’s a micrometer so not a lot of information to give. Like the carrying case

After "3 in 1 oil" lubrication it worked really well. Good Accuracy & Value. Nice Case.

A bit crudely finished, but they work, calibration of the standards is acceptable. Good set for what I intended them for.zeroing them took a bit of time, and confusion over the strange barrel locking, but once you understand it, it's not hard at all.Happy with the purchase

Needed to be calibrated with the provided wrench which I consider normal. Smooth operation.

I have not used the 3 inch yet, the 2 inch is accurate on what I have measured so far. However, the 1" is only accurate on a 0 every line past that is off seems to have put the lines in the wrong place it is off by up to .002" the further away from 0 weird thing is every .025 it does still land on zero but if you want an accurate measurement on .883 for example it is off by .001 if you do .875 accurate and so on in .025 increments. I work in a CNC machine shop so it is to far out to use.
