This product is not a disinfectant. It is used to establish a reserve of bromide in the spa or hot tub water. It is necessary to use a sanitizer to disinfect the water. This product is recommended for use with brominating tablets. Add 1/2 oz. of product per 100 gallons of spa water to establish a 30 ppm (parts per million) bromide reserve before using brominating tablets for the first time, and whenever the spa is drained and refilled. When used with brominating tablets, this product will ensure that the disinfection of the spa or hot tub water is completely bromine based and will eliminate chlorine odors.

This product is a easy review. Worked just fine. Came in a solid durable container and definitely helped my with my hot tub. We work to balance our hob frequently and this product is a must have on hand at all time. Its great for the money and keeps my water clarity clear. We are happy with it.5/5

Product was good but bottles came open in shipping. Had to dump back into bottles. Lost some of course. Product itself good.

I use Spa Choice regularly. Always my go to for Hot Tub Season. I ordered this in July to get ready for the cool weather. I didn’t open it as I was waiting to drain and clean my tub. When I finally opened the box I found one of the two bottles had opened and spilled out in the box. Unfortunately it was passed the return date and I could not find a way to contact seller.

Put recommended dose in per gallons nothing on test strips added double and still no bromine base reading and it clouded my hot tub ! Absolute garbage do not waste your money

This was the second time ordering a bromide booster from Amazon. The first brand was useless and didn't boost the bromide levels at all. This product ROCKS! It did what it needed to do and the amount used each time was less than the other product. We will continue to only use this!
